St. John’s – St. Margaret’s Nursing Home (SJSM NH) is a community service initiative of SJSM Church, operated in partnership with St. Andrew’s Mission Hospital.


In addition to a co-located Senior Care Centre for 80 day care placements, the 266-bed nursing home is located within SJSM Village, a multi- service complex which includes a preschool and church facilities.

COVID-19 Notice:

Visitor Management Measures Extended

In accordance with the Ministry of Health (MOH)'s latest advisory, we will be extending our current visiting guidelines for another four weeks until 31 August 2022 (inclusive).


  • Daily Visitation Hours: 11am to 2pm and 4pm to 7pm
  • No. of Designated Visitors Allowed Per Resident: 4
  • No. of Visitor Allowed Per Visit: 1
  • Duration of Each Visit Capped at: 30 minutes
  • No. of Visitors Allowed Per Ward at Any One Time: 5


The following measures remain unchanged:

  • Visitors are recommended to do ART prior to each visit
  • A surgical mask must be worn at all times
  • Visitations will cease in the event of a COVID-19 cluster


Visitors will not be allowed to visit if they:

  • Are unwell or have ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection) symptoms e.g. flu, cough, sore throat, etc.
  • Had a recent COVID-19 infection and are still tested positive
  • Have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case
