Positions Available :


Senior/Executive, Volunteer Management

Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding of Volunteers:

  • Manage online registrations from church volunteers and schedule interviews with Chaplain 
  • Generate letters/email for appointment to volunteers stating areas of volunteering and agreed time slots / days
  • Conduct orientation sessions and Gvilly App training for volunteers
  • Bring external community partners/ volunteer groups with various programs /competency for engagement with residents
  • Arrange training for volunteers


Volunteer Deployment:

  • Work with Management and the church to execute programs and initiatives
  • Understand interest and capabilities of volunteers and matching them to activities for residents. 
  • Tracking and updating of attendance
  • Generate report and statistics for the KPI tracking in consultation with Executive Director
  • Organize festive events, kampong gatherings and other important occasions together with volunteers
  • Stand in for volunteers to lead certain games, art and crafts etc
  • Receive and evaluate feedback to improve workflow and increase volunteer success


Volunteer Evaluation and Appreciation

  • Evaluate volunteer effectiveness with a view to regular positive and negative feedback
  • Organise Annual Volunteer Appreciation event
  • Identify training needs of lead volunteers to develop their competencies

To undertake projects relevant to the post, as requested by ED.


Requirements:

  • Able to work on Saturdays on some weeks to support volunteer programs
  • Degree, preferably in Mass Communication or Business Administration
  • Min 2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Good organisational ability, is resourceful and is able to see project from inception to completion
  • Discern sensitive issues and offer reasonable council/suggestions to solve the problem or handle the situation
  • Good working knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office and other creative software
  • Has an eye for aesthetic, tasteful design/presentation, and knowledge in design/print production process is an advantage


Operations / Facilities Assistant

Responsibilities:

Facilities & Equipment

  • Perform routine maintenance of Medical & Non-Medical equipment in accordance to maintenance schedule
  • Perform non-routine maintenance of Medical & Non-Medical equipment when requested by the wards/offices
  • Medical Equipment includes (wards only):

-Wheelchair

-Geriatric chair

-Commode chair

-Hospital bed (6 monthly)

  • Non-Medical Equipment includes (wards and general areas):

-Sanitary fixtures

-Electrical fixtures

-Furniture

Purchasing

  • Sourcing of quotation for medical/non-medical supplies & services based on user’s request
  • Assist in all administrative work relating to purchasing
  • Coordinate between vendors for delivery of items/services upon acknowledgment of PO


Requirements:

  • Possess Class 3 license as there may be a need to drive company van in the course of work
