Offering 2 dementia-dedicated wards, we have a team of multi-disciplinary care team who are trained in the care of persons with dementia and support caregivers. Residents can choose to engage in a wide range of activities such as gardening, reminiscence & art therapy, cognitive training, sensory activities and cooking.
We provide holistic care aimed at reducing suffering and optimising the quality of life for persons in the last stages of their lives.
Psychosocial support is provided for our residents through various avenues such as social, recreational and inter-generational activities, as well as counselling. These activities may be volunteer-led and next-of-kin are welcomed to participate together.
The answer to life’s struggles may be beyond the reach of medicine and physical therapy at times. Apart from befriending, our in-house chaplain offers end-of-life and bereavement support for residents and caregivers.
